APPLICATION FOR 2011 WORKSHOP

(Note: In Kodiak, we recently spent a lot of time reviewing the initial two summer programs in an effort to improve the project. This application form reflects this analysis. Hopefully, it will give better information for you and us to make good decisions on whether this program is the right choice for the applicant.)

The goal of the Alaskan Ocean Challenge project is to give young people tools they need to be successful in their lives. The sea is a great teacher. We want to give young people the experience of training in this unique, beautiful and demanding wilderness environment. They will naturally acquire a sense of ownership over the ocean, which covers three quarters of the earth’s surface.
