PROGRAM: Internal Guidance Related to the Ocean Providence and Hands-on Fishing and Boating Education in the Gulf of Alaska
Internal Guidance: Hoondokhae on True Father's words about ocean, Divine Principle lectures and application in the marine setting, visitation of True Parents’ historic fishing sites, fellowship services, etc.
Hands-on: Intensive ocean and river fishing (Pacific salmon and halibut, sea bass and ling cod); seminars and certification on boat safety handling and operations (Kodiak Coast Guard Auxiliary), seamanship, boat preparation, fishing techniques, fish processing, CPR training and certification (Red Cross)
Other activities include: a fishing tournament, a beach bonfire, a public service project, wildlife viewing and a Kodiak City tour
QUALIFICATION:
Exclusively for motivated young adults who love nature and have strong
desire to attend the program. LECTURERS & INSTRUCTORS: Ocean Church leaders and guest speakers, including a local biologist, members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, a local naturalist, the Red Cross and a native American anthropologist.
A. SENIOR PROGRAM: $1,200 each person, check or money order. A deposit of $300, due on June 30th is required. B. JUNIOR PROGRAM: $900 each person, check or money order. A deposit of $100, due on July 31st is required.
